Plectrum Mode

From the Tools menu or from the plectrum mode button on the Play area of the main dialog you can toggle on/off interactive plectrum mode.

In plectrum mode, the mouse pointer changes to a plectrum shape when the mouse is over the neck image. If you click on any of the note markers, that note will be played.

Using 'Display-as-you-play' you can highlight the note marker(s) whenever you play a note. You can highlight either just the note that you've picked or all instances of that note on the neck. This functionality can be configured via the Display Options dialog.

You can choose the type of instrument used via the Tuning dialog.
